How much is FALL registration?
Answer: $65.00 for 1st child, $55 for 2nd child, $45 for 3rd child.

When is the LAST day to sign up for FALL Registration? 
Answer:  AUGUST 1st-   Teams need to be made and jerseys/uniforms will be ordered. 

What are the age groups? 
Answer: 4& 5 Division, 6&7 Division, 8-,10 Division and 11-13 Division

When does the season start? 
Answer: Opening Day is the 2nd Sunday in September 

What does my child need to play? 
Answer: Players need to wear shin guards and cleats and bring plenty of water to stay hydrated.
(Jersey and socks will be provided with uniforms.)

Where are practice is held?
 Answer:  This will depend on the availability due to High School Sports. 
Practices can be held behind Gloucester City High School (1600 Market Street, Gloucester City NJ 08030

What day are games played? 
Answer: Games are always played on Sunday Mornings. 
(Unless there is inclement weather, this will be discussed by Coaches and Executive Board.

What if my child never played before?
Answer:  That's great! We love welcoming new players/families to our league.
Players will learn basic skills, practice and play in games.  (All based on their age)
They will learn the game of soccer in no time! 

How are division age groups determined? 
Divisions are set by BIRTH YEAR- Our league follows NJ YOUTH SOCCER RULES.

Is there tryouts? 
Answer: We do not have Tryouts; this is a Recreational League. As coaches, we want the kids to have fun, learn and return each year season to become a better soccer player.

Can siblings be on the same team? ... Can my child be on the same team as their best friend?
Our Player Agent will try their best to keep siblings on the same team, if they have the same birth year.
If there is a request, please email Admin@gcyouthsoccer.  Our Player Agent will try their best to fulfill request. Please keep in mind, our league has grown over 250 children, and we need to ensure all teams have a full roster.

What if my child plays more than one sport and can’t make all practices and games? 
We encourage kids to play multiple sports! This is a recreational youth league, kids are supposed to have fun, learn and love playing the game.  Ou league has rules in place that all players need to play 50% of each game.
